Hi, Paris. Tell us more about yourself. How long have you been working as a Delivery Support Specialist at iCOVER, and what is your prior experience in the field?

Hi there! I’ve been a Delivery Support Specialist for a little over two years now, and I must confess that I owe all my knowledge to my amazing team and colleagues that show me something new every single day. I did not have any previous experience before joining iCOVER in 2018, since I had just finished college, but after a couple of months, I started developing a liking for customer service and client management, which helped me get promoted to the Delivery Support Specialist position.

What are the main responsibilities of a Delivery Support Specialist?

I have two main duties. The first one concerns customer support, as I am part of the team that handles client queries related to the transactions submitted to the system for processing. The second one concerns processing background screening checks within the Delivery Team.

What interests you most about the role?

As I mentioned before, I have developed an interest in client management. My position allows me direct contact with our clients, and there is always something new to take away every day. Something else I find interesting about my position is that the feedback I gather from my daily interactions with the clients can be shared with other teams in order to improve our customers’ experience with our services.

In order for a Delivery Support Specialist to provide the best services to clients, you need to invest time in your own personal development. In what area(s) do you hope to further develop?

I’m trying to focus on developing my client/project management skills, as I would like to keep going forward with the Client Management team. I am also hoping to enhance my intercultural skills since I must interact daily with people from different cultures and nations around the world, both colleagues at iCOVER and clients.
